About The Business
Tata Semiconductor Manufacturing Private Limited (TSMPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
TSMPL (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence

Responsibilities
- Own responsibilities for transferring 28–110 nm technology data‑handling procedures from partner facilities; work closely with Fab teams to ensure smooth and accurate technology transfer.
- Manage integration and maintenance of data‑handling rules across 28–110 nm platform technologies, including dummy insertion, Boolean implant operations, seal‑ring insertion, slot insertion, and DRC enforcement.
- Collaborate closely with Fab teams (LT, PEI, Metrology, etc.) to implement, validate, and continuously improve data‑handling requirements.
- Develop and maintain data‑handling programming in UNIX/Linux environments.
- Design and build automated data‑handling systems to improve robustness, scalability, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors to define and standardize data information and formats (e.g., chip and frame data after OPC, after dummy insertion, and related processing steps).

- Proficiency with deck/programming tools such as TCL/TK, Python, and Calibre.

Qualifications
- Bachelor or M.S in Electrical Engineering, Science Engineering or IT Engineering or equivalent
- Strong understanding of data handling procedures and CAD deck requirements.
- Deep understanding of Data handling software such like Calibre / Aether/Skipper …..
- Ability to work across different cultures and geographies
- Good team player
- Innovation and competitive mindset
Desired Experience Level
- 10+ years experience in the semiconductor industry, most of which will be in the Data handling / Mask field
- Proven track record of successfully developing new technologies into high volume production
- Proven problem solving skills using design of experiments and analytical tools
