Purpose
The role is within the Digital Department, specifically in the MES team, focusing on shop floor systems. This position involves leading the shop floor system solution design in line with the Industry 4.0 standards.
Key Responsibility
Solution Design & Implementation
- Oversee the solution design, architecture.
- Coordinate end-to-end solution design and support during development and implementation
- Act as a technical liaison between solution vendor and functional leads.
- Work with business/functional leads and ensure the solution design captures end-end business process
Self & Team Development
- Upskill team members competencies by facilitating with the necessary training
- Up to date with latest technologies in manufacturing systems
- Identify pain points in and provide ideal solution incorporating latest technologies
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Industrial Engineering (IE) Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Computer Science.
Certifications:
- MESA certification in MES/MOM
- APICS CPIM or ISA 95 certification or equivalent
Experience
- 10-15 years of relevant experience.
Additional Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience (4~6 years) in as a solution architect or in MES leadership role managing multi-plant manufacturing programs
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, Industry 4.0 concepts and digital transformation technologies
- Hands on knowledge on any of MES systems like OPCENTER, CAMSTAR, SI-VIEW, Critical manufacturing etc., including integration with ERP, PLM, WMS, LMS and other manufacturing IT systems
- Familiarity with integration protocols such as OPC, MQTT, SECS/GEM and Restful APIs.
- Possess knowledge on IT/OT convergence and information security
- Proficiency in production process mapping, workflows, data models and system architecture design
- Manufacturing data analytics and automation framework
- Ability to navigate regulatory requirements especially for Semiconductor industry
