Purpose:

· To develop, implement and maintain environmentally responsible business practices.

· To lead the Implementation of Corporate Environment & Sustainability Protocols across the organization.

· To ensure strict adherence to environmental standards and nurture a ubiquitous culture of sustainability.

· To ensure the seamless integration of sustainable practices into the organizational framework.

· To conceptualize, plan, co-ordinate, develop and deploy Environmental Best Practices across the organization.

Key Responsibility

1. Design, implement, and maintain sustainability reporting systems aligned with global standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and local regulations.
2. Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather environmental, social, and governance data, verify accuracy, and analyse trends and performance metrics.
3. Lead the preparation of annual sustainability reports, integrated reports, and other ESG disclosures for stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
4. Ensure sustainability reporting meets regulatory requirements and supports internal and external audits; work closely with external consultants if required.
5. Identify opportunities to enhance sustainability performance, reporting systems, and ESG initiatives, promoting best practices across the organization.
6. Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to improve sustainability data quality and ESG awareness across departments.

7. Develop systems for Inventorisation of GHG Emissions as per GHG Protocol.

8. Ensure that targets set by individual stakeholders are in alignment with the Net Zero targets of the organization.

9. Identify, compile, monitor, review, implement and ensure effectiveness of decarbonization measures taken in the organization.

 

Qualification

B.Tech /BE/MTech in Environmental Engineering 

Experience

12 to 17 years
