Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities 

Procurement process management (procure to pay) 

  1. On time PO creation and management 

  1. Collaborate with vendor per MRP changes and mitigate any risks associated to on time material availability 

  1. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and smoothly delivery of materials 

  1. Follow up on payments and ensure timely release of funds to vendors 

Stakeholder management 

  1. Participate in review meetings for high-value projects, ensuring alignment with user department and finance 

  1. Drive improvements needed in procurement process & systems to enable efficiency and effectiveness and achieve internal customer satisfaction 

Documentation 

  1. Maintain accurate and up to date procurement records, documentation 

  1. Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements throughout the procurement process 

  1. Vendor data management 

Qualifications 

Qualification 

  1. Engineering degree for Tool/equipment/direct materials procurement 

  1. Preferably semiconductors industry experience 

  1. Proficiency in SAP 

  1. Good communication skills 

Desired Experience Level  

10 to 15 yrs
