Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Job Responsibilities
-
Design & implement real-time dispatching rules and workflows using systems such as Applied Materials Advanced Productivity Family (APF RTD) and Activity Manager (AMA).

Integrate RTD with factory systems: MES, AMHS, Material Control, APC, FDC, SPC tools to enable seamless shop-floor coordination.

Optimize production logic to meet KPIs (throughput, cycle time, equipment utilization) via intelligent dispatching and scheduling.

Administer and maintain dispatch systems: install, patch, troubleshoot, monitor health, backup/restore, and tune performance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with production control, industrial engineering, planning, CIM, process integration, module engineering, yield enhancement, and infrastructure teams.

Conduct periodic performance reviews and continuously improve dispatch rules, system architectures, and operational hardware/software.

Collaborate closely with fab organization, operation users and partners to implement and develop robust CIM solutions through quality coding and testing.

Working closely with the manufacturing (MFG) and Quality teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Operational support responsibility:

Provide consistent support to operations by monitoring and maintaining systems to ensure high uptime and reliability of automation.

Monitor equipment tool performance, ensuring availability of data transfer and compliance to operational requirements.

Share “lessons learned” with the production and engineering teams to improve line issues resolution and system optimization.

Qualifications
BE Degree in Mechanical (automation, robotics) or Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
Desired Experience Level
Experience in semiconductor foundry environment and/ or DevOps tool is a plus.
