Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. Key Responsibility
Job Description
- Minimum 10+ years of working experience in Lithography module handling the relevant Processes and Equipment.
- Lead a team of Module engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Lead the Module team in troubleshooting process related issues including lot disposition, resolving product quality issues by applying Root Cause Analysis
- Manage and mentor the team in handling non-conformance process issues and scraps disposition according to OCAP.
- Understanding of SPC principles, deploy recipe management methodologies.
- Familiar with process characterisation, implement new / improve existing processes through DOE and take data driven decisions for process sustenance and continuous improvement achieving process KPI targets (Cp, Cpk, UPH optimization etc).
- Lead and participate in yield improvement and cost optimization activities.
- Adept in resolving process-related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D.
- Coordinate and carry out process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization.
- Handle new process baseline qualifications and manage, audit, and collaborate with cross functional team to achieve quality, cost, and risk mitigation objectives.
- Work on new process developments with team, cross modules, NPI/TD/PI to establish required process window and suitable machine controls set ups.
- Manage Capex budgets, prioritizing cost-efficiency and maximizing utilization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades, automation, and process enhancements.
- Manage equipment-related risks, identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
- Draft and release equipment PM procedures, CM guide, OCAP fan outs.
- EHS, QM, ESD, 6S standard and cleanroom protocol.
- Maintain optimum utilization of equipment, constantly review OEE management, reduce tool downtime and increase equipment throughput with Safety and Quality.
- Liaise with equipment vendors and suppliers continuously to develop new methods to achieve low-cost maintenance system, reduce wastages, improve tool performance and own module COO and Machine matching projects.
- Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
- Drive the team of Technicians to participate in all CIPs.
Qualification
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Chemical, Materials Science, device physics.
- Direct wafer Fab Experience with >10 years expertise in Lithography module is a must
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and PM practices.
- Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies for equipment performance optimization, tool matching, yield improvement, sustainability management projects.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
