Key Responsibility

Company Profile 

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence. 

 

Role Summary

Responsible for managing end‑to‑end onboarding operations for new hires at TSMPL and supporting all backend processes related to TEPL campus hiring. The role ensures effective stakeholder coordination, accurate data management, and a seamless onboarding experience for employees, interns, and Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs).

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Onboarding Management (End‑to‑End)

  • Manage the onboarding lifecycle from offer release to Day‑1 completion.
  • Coordinate with candidates on documentation, relocation, pre‑joining queries, and formalities.
  • Maintain onboarding records in HRMS and internal trackers.
  • Oversee Day‑1 activities including document verification, ID creation, seating arrangements, and welcome kits.
  • Conduct induction and orientation programs with internal teams.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, IT, POSH, Admin, and hiring managers for onboarding activities.
  • Ensure timely completion of compliance and policy acknowledgments.

 

2. Campus Operations & Coordination

  • Manage backend operations for interns and GETs from onboarding to exit.
  • Track intern evaluations, extensions, conversions, and exits.
  • Coordinate with colleges for campus drives, including scheduling, logistics, and communication.
  • Work with interviewers and hiring managers to streamline campus interview processes.
  • Maintain reports, trackers, and dashboards for campus hiring.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for college placement teams.

 

3. Record Keeping & Process Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date data for onboarding and campus activities.
  • Ensure all records and documents are audit‑ready.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
 

Qualification

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources; MBA preferred
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Excellent organizational and record‑management abilities.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across HR, IT, Payroll, Admin, and Hiring teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and HR systems/tools.
  • Prior experience in onboarding or campus operations is preferred.

 

Experience

  • 7-12 years of experience in HR /Staffing from Semiconductor / EDA industry , Semiconductor equipment suppliers (OEMs).
