Overview:
The Associate Program Manager will provide operational and analytical support to the Program Manager in driving the TEPL OSAT Assam plant start-up and operations. This role focuses on day-to-day project tracking, data management, and reporting, supporting the Program Manager on strategic leadership and alignment with the Business Head’s vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, validate, and organize project and operational data to support decision-making.
- Critical Path Tracking: Monitor schedules, update dependencies, and highlight potential delays.
- Risk Register Maintenance: Document risks, track mitigation actions, and escalate issues to the Program Manager.
- Decision Support: Prepare decision matrices, summaries, and supporting documentation for leadership reviews.
- Reporting & Presentations: Create dashboards, reports, and PowerPoint decks for stakeholders and steering committees.
- Documentation: Maintain project files, templates, and compliance records in line with PMO standards.
- Coordination: Facilitate communication between cross-functional teamsunder Program Manager guidance.
- Operational Readiness Support: Track KPIs and readiness activities to ensure smooth transition into plant operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, or operations support
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Certification (PMP, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of plant operations, commissioning processes, and risk management.
