Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed factory layout plans in coordination with capacity and process engineering teams.
• Support layout evolution for process changes, capacity expansion, and equipment installation.
• Interface with facilities and construction teams to communicate layout requirements and changes.
• Ensure alignment of layout plans with site readiness and infrastructure capabilities.
• Conduct space utilization studies and scenario planning for future expansions.
• Support long-term space allocation strategies and capital investment planning
  
  

Essential Attributes

• Strong capability with CAD tools and layout simulation software.
• Hands on experience with factory construction principles and factory infrastructure systems as they relate to space planning.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

Desired Experience Level 

5–10 years of experience in layout planning and facilities coordination in manufacturing environment.
