We are seeking for Opcenter Semiconductor Business Analyst to support and enhance our MES (Manufacturing Execution System) operations. In this role, you will act as the critical link between manufacturing teams, process engineering, automation, and IT to ensure efficient semiconductor production using Siemens Opcenter Execution Semiconductor platform.

High level requirements:  gather business requirements, design and optimize MES workflows, manage system configurations, and ensure high system performance

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document manufacturing requirements from engineering, operations, and quality teams specific to semiconductor processes (wafer fabrication, assembly, and test).
  • Design, configure, and optimize MES workflows in Opcenter Execution Semiconductor.
  • Define and implement complex semiconductor-specific processes: Lot Start, Lot Move, Lot Split/Merge, Hold/Release, Scrap/Rework, Track In/Out, Recipe Management.
  • Support WIP (Work-In-Progress) management, genealogy, traceability, and data collection processes.
  • Collaborate with automation teams for equipment integration (SECS/GEM, EDA standards).
  • Partner with IT to design system interfaces (ERP, SPC, APC, IoT platforms).
  • Participate in MES validation, user acceptance testing, and go-live support for system upgrades or new deployments.
  • Create and maintain functional specifications, user guides, training materials, and SOPs.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for production MES issues.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with MES systems
  • Basic understanding of hi-tech  manufacturing processes
  • Hands-on experience with lot tracking, recipe management, equipment automation standards
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
