Responsibilities:
Security & Systems Management
i) Operate and monitor modern security gadgets and surveillance systems (CCTV, RFID, biometric access, intrusion detection).
ii) Implement and enforce material security protocols for incoming, outgoing, returnable, and non-returnable materials.
iii) Coordinate with SCM, IT and Electronic security team for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
iv) Knowledge of RGP & NRGP material movement and further action on pending RGP
v) Controlling material gate, movement of material
vi) Knowledge of scrap management and loading/unloading
vii) Knowledge of weighbridge function its calibration
viii) Exercising vigilance on all activities and develop informers
Warehouse & Material Management
i) Supervise warehouse operations ensuring safe storage, handling, and movement of materials.
ii) Maintain real-time inventory tracking using SAP and other ERP tools.
iii) Ensure compliance with material handling standards and safety regulations.
Audit & Compliance
i) Conduct regular audits of material flow, warehouse records, and security systems.
ii) Prepare presentations and reports for management and external auditors.
iii) Ensure adherence to ISO, EHS, and semiconductor industry-specific compliance standards.
Leadership & Coordination
i) Lead a team of warehouse and security staff with clear delegation of responsibilities.
ii) Train personnel on security awareness, SAP usage, and material handling protocols.
iii) Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material movement.
Essential Attributes:
i) Strong knowledge of security systems and gadgets (CCTV, RFID, biometric access, alarm systems).
ii) Expertise in SAP (MM/WM modules) and proficiency in MS Office tools.
iii) Solid understanding of warehouse management, material handling, and logistics.
iv) Experience in audit preparation, compliance documentation, and presentation skills.
v) Proven leadership capabilities with ability to manage cross-functional teams.
vi) Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Qualifications:
i) Bachelor’s degree preferably in Security Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or Graduate equivalent having 10 yrs of experience.
ii) Professional certifications in SAP, Warehouse Management, or Security Systems, certification like CPP etc preferred.
iii) Minimum 5–10 years of experience in material security/warehouse management within manufacturing (semiconductor, Data Centre, Electronic Components manufacture industry experience is a plus).
