About The Business
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities
• Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
• Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources, including equipment and personnel.
• Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies and procedures to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfilment rates, inventory accuracy, and shipping times, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations, including health and safety standards.
• Manage the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and facilities.

Inventory Management:
o Maintain accurate inventory records through effective cycle counting and physical inventory reconciliation.
o Implement and optimize inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies, damage, and obsolescence.
• Optimize storage solutions and warehouse layout for efficient product flow and space utilization, considering specific requirements for cleanroom equipment or semiconductor materials.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams to manage raw material requirements and delivery profiles.

Safety & Security:
o Establish and enforce strict health, safety, and security protocols within the warehouse.
o Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
o Ensure proper handling and storage of all materials, including specialized equipment or sensitive components.
o Manage security procedures to safeguard warehouse operations and contents.

Collaboration & Communication:
o Liaise effectively with internal departments (e.g., Production, Quality, Sales, Finance) and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, transport companies, airport operators) to ensure seamless operations.
o Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and activities to senior management.
o Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Essential Attributes
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with manufacturing, finance and logistic teams to align with business goals.
• Problem-Solving: Quick resolution of supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and delivery delays.
• Knowledge of incoterms, customs, logistics, and import/export regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Ariba)
• Knowledge of Safety standards including Semi standards
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., OHSAS, local labor laws)
• Ability to operate or oversee the operation of various material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills

Required DG Certification Qualifications
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering/science/commerce
• Supply Chain, Business Administration and/or any Global SCM certification like APICS is an added advantage Desired Experience Level
• 10 years of experience in Warehouse Management -preferably in electronics/similar industries
