Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

1. Development of capital equipment : Assembly / Process / Quality equipment’s
2. Understanding of BOQ of equipment’s
3. Commercial settlement on capital equipment’s
4. Manage Engineering Changes in equipment design
5. Awareness of global standards on equipment performance
6. Safety standards equipment used for assembly and process in EMS industry
7. Experience in Laser / Dispensing / Anodizing / Cleaning processes in EMS assembly
8. Awareness of quality equipment : Cosmetic / Dimension / Environmental chambers.
9. Able to do benchmarking on equipment specification and come out with cost reduction ideas
10. BOM analysis to drive cost down approach.
11. Awareness of standard parts used in equipment like sensors / camera modules / robots., etc.,

Essential Attributes

• Able to manage a team of 2 to 3 engineers
• Data analytics / Presentation
• Demonstrate the development process through IT tools to ensure end to end visibility in supply chain.

Qualifications

• B.E., Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Chemical engineering
• Additional qualification on Industrial engineering or Safety standards would be an added advantage.  

Desired Experience Level

• 7 to 10 years experience in EMS or automotive industry in Supply chain function.
• Rich experience in handling capital equipment manufacturer in India and in abroad.
• Knowledge on logistics management.
