Purpose

To plan and oversee implementation of the entire production process for CNC/Anodizing/Surface Finishing, thereby ensuring successful development of product in line with required specifications

Key Responsibility

- Provides and discusses status updates on SPQCDME (safety, productivity, quality, cost, delivery, morale, environment) with supervisors and block heads
- Understands inspection plan and reports of CNC components (only for CNC)
- Understands inspection plan and reports of cosmetic components (only for SF)
- Review and understands reports generated by QC (cosmetic, production, process) and take actions accordingly (only for Ano)

- Uses 7QC tools and Six Sigma to understand process behavior

- Oversees planning and execution of 4Ms (man, material, machine, method)

- Reviews corrective and preventive action identified by supervisor
- Creates plan of systematic action for escalations (if any) 
- Oversee maintenance of fixtures (only for Ano) 
- Ensure fresh bath preparation and discard as per set frequency (only for SF/Ano)

- Ensures adherence to budget set for respective production line
- Provides inputs in budgeting exercise for respective production line taking into consideration forecasts for CAPEX (yearly), OPEX(weekly)

Qualification

Diploma - Mechanical (preferred) Automobile, Production Engineering / B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical (preferred), Automobile, Production Engineering

Experience

8-10 years min experience in surface cleaning/treatment (only for SF/Ano)
10-12 years of min experience in CNC machining (only for CNC - Diploma)
8-10 years of min experience in CNC machining (only for CNC - BE/B/.Tech)

Additional Technical Requirements

Knowledge of cleaning and abrasives required (mandatory) (only for SF) 
Knowledge of CNC programming, cutting tool, engineering drawing (GD&T - Geometric Drawing & Toleration), abrasives, solvents and coolants required (mandatory) (for CNC)
