The Process Stage Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end planning, qualification, and execution of stage operations across CNC/CIP/CTR processes. The role ensures on‑time project delivery, process capability, and yield improvement. Without this position, the organization would face delays in product development, reduced quality outcomes, and challenges in sustaining reliable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Process Qualification (50%) Plan and execute 4Ms – Man, Material, Machine, Method. Oversee IQ/OQ/PQ stage qualifications. Review customer DFM submissions and provide inputs. Understand product designs and delegate responsibilities to team members. Lead DOE (Design of Experiments) planning and execution in coordination with process and product teams. Review progress of new machine development and provide necessary inputs.

Reviews and Meetings (15%) Review team tasks and progress against project timelines. Provide status updates to management and customers. Collaborate with vendor teams for new machine development updates.

Yield Management (5%) Ensure and maintain CP/CPK levels. Monitor cosmetic yield performance and initiate corrective actions. Sustain long‑term process yield improvements.

Root Cause & Failure Analysis (5%) Review engineers’ RCA reports and provide feedback. Approve corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure implementation. Introduce improved methodologies for effective problem‑solving.

Machine Qualification (5%) Review LBU (Line Bring-Up) reports and progress. Coordinate with customers for approvals. Approve process recipe deployment after internal evaluation.

SOPs & Documentation (5%) Review and approve SOPs; ensure periodic revisions. Approve process DFMs, PFMEA, FMEA, and all engineering documentation.

People Management (10%) Lead onboarding, goal setting, and performance evaluation. Coach team members on technical and behavioral competencies. Resolve team concerns, conflicts, and grievances. H. Project Management (5%) Ensure timely execution and delivery of project milestones. Participate in high‑level project review meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Education Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics / Automobile OR B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics / Automobile (Preferred) Experience B.E. candidates: 10+ years (NX preferred) Diploma candidates: 15+ years (NX preferred) Certifications (Preferred) CAM Tool programming Technical Skills CTR: Cutting tool knowledge, NX CAD, GD&T (Mandatory) CNC: Experience with CNC micro-machines (Mandatory), FANUC controller (Preferred) CIP: Siemens controller, ALT machine development, digital solutions expertise
