Responsibilities
- Possesses sound knowledge in cost estimation of Stock Machining, Casting, Fabrication-Sheet metal, Mechanical assemblies for EMS, Semiconductor Industry
- Possesses sound knowledge in part localization, Zero Based Costing, Same / Similar part analysis (part commonality), DtC (Design to Cost) & VAVE analysis
- Working with Material and Commodity managers to identify high spend potential projects
- Knowledge in Jigs and Fixtures
- Perform Part Price Rationalization on various EMS – Mechanical components
- Conducting Cost Engineering Workshops with different suppliers globally
- Supporting to DtC - (Entire Product Value Chain) activities Cost Modelling, LPP, Price history, Price benchmarking, Supplier Benchmarking and Supplier negotiation
- Build Global costing database for Labor, Machines and Materials
- Provide technical support to Global Supply Chain team
Essential Attributes
- Proficiency in utilizing costing tools like excel, aPriori, Siemens TCPCM
- Knowledge in GD&T
- Basic knowledge on accessing to Auto CAD, Creo Direct Modelling
- Exposure in Data analysis by using MS office
- Strong negotiation skills and abilities to work with global suppliers for different region
- Able to handle entire Should cost team activities
- Good in Communication skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering
- Desired Experience Level Total Experience must be,
- 10 – 12 years for B.E / B. Tech, 12-15 years for Diploma
- Relevant Experience should be 6 – 8 years
