• Responsible for continuous improvement in automation and its sustenance in order to improve productivity
• Develops and improves moulding processes for new and existing products
• Actively drives continuous improvement activities for productivity and resin wastage reduction
• Supports and facilitates the automation team and maintenance team to run the IM process with full automation
• Performs Mold qualifications for new Molds using a scientific approach and generates a qualification report with full technical data through interaction with Engineering team
• Holds complete technical responsibility of new Mold development and its process establishment
• Analyses the RJG (IM tool) data, including deviations (if any), for further improvements
• Holds complete technical responsibility of automation to release for Manufacturing (RTM)
• Prepares and reviews new work instructions for all new Mold developments
• Supports in the development and implementation of quality procedures, standard operating procedures, and other manufacturing related documentation.
• Holds complete responsibility of preparing and maintaining injection moulding documentation for Mold development and process engineering activities, including automation
• Actively supports production team in problem solving and troubleshooting of issues
• Prepares RCA for any technical issues related to IM
• Ensures timely and effective team onboarding, goal setting and performance management
• Mentors and coaches team members on careers (technical and behavioural aspects of the job)
• Resolves conflicts and grievances (if any)

Qualification & Experience

 8 to 10 years of experience as ME in manufacturing Plastics IM  (BE, B.Tech)
10 to 12 year of experince as ME in manufacturing plastics IM  (Diploma)
