Purpose

Overseeing the team's operations, coordinating production schedules, ensuring quality control, and managing resources effectively. If the team lead position is not filled, it could lead to a lack of coordination, potential delays in production, and a decrease in overall efficiency.

Key Responsibility

• Responsible for new product development in CNC Engineering.
• Responsible for installation and commissioning of CNC Machining centres (VMC with Fanuc ans Siemens)
• Responsible for leading a team to prove out the machining process with process capability.
• Responsible to maintain running quality of new product at machine shop.
• Responsible for handling final customer on daily basis to meet the deliverables.
• Responsible for Product yield achievement at final assembly level.
• Responsible for approving cutting tools design (DAP) and fixture design (DAP) to meet the product requirements.
• Responsible for Failure Analysis and corrective action for yield improvement.
• Responsible for reducing cycle time (Process time, machining time) to meet Mass production target.
• Responsible for creating system documents like PFMEA, SOP, Control plan and check list for Process monitoring.
• Responsible for concurrent engineering along with CFTs like product design team, quality team, Fauiler Analysis Team and customer design team.
• Strong GD&T and Drawing reading skill

Diploma/BE/B.Tech/ME
