Purpose

To implement plant processes with respect to Laser efficiently and effectively, thereby ensuring smooth operations

Key Responsibility

- Ensures adjustment of process parameter controls during production runs (XYZ parameter adjustment)
- Responsible for monitoring and reducing process down times
- Responsible for meeting target cycle time with respect to manual operations
- Monitors the yield reports in order to ensure product quality and reduce the scrap percentage during production
- Responsible for reducing the usage of consumables

-Monitors CP (process capability) & CPK (process capability index)
- Monitors cosmetic yield performance
- Identifies deviations with respect to machine processes and take corrective actions, as required

-Identifies root cause using problem solving tools such as 7QC, Fishbone,Why-Why 
-Implements corrective and preventive action 
-Conducts failure analysis 

Qualification

B.Tech (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics/Production)/Diploma

Experience

B.Tech - 2 to 6 years of experience
Diploma - 6 to 9 years of experience

Additional Technical Requirements

For ME Laser - previous experience in laser welding required (preferred)
GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) knowledge required (mandatory)
FMEA (Failure mode effect analysis) knowledge required (mandatory)
AutoCAD and NX knowledge required (preferred)
