Purpose

Key Responsibility

Job Description:

• Ensures availability of manpower to run the shift and tracks individual performance                      
• Ensures autonomous maintenance through maintaining cleanliness, coolant levels, oil levels, machine conditions, etc.
• Resolves daily routine minor problems in the machine
• Escalates/ highlights and coordinates to resolve major issues
• Confirms carrying out of regular PM
• Suggests new idea / modifications, as and when required                  
• Ensures availability of 4M for the current shift and the opening of the next shift
• Confirms availability of Fixture/Tool and consumables       
• Reduces cost of poor quality by minimizing wastage and issues
• Uses Kaizen to increases productivity
• Improves overall equipment efficiency by addressing quality issues and maintain quality performance"                     
• Ensures timely and effective team onboarding, goal-setting and performance management
• Drives daily routine management through TEI (Total employee involvement)
• Ensures on the job training for operators

Qualification

Diploma - Mechanical (preferred) Automobile, Production Engineering   

Experience

5 to 8 years of supervisory experience
