Key Responsibility

Characterization:

- Performs material characterization individually

- Handles Metallurgical Microscope & X- Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer

- Performs Layer thickness measurement/ Anodizing Crazing/ Cell Structure & Size Measurment / Poring Dia/ and using Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM)

- Analyzes layer chemistry using Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS)

Failure Study:

- Responsible for handling Electron Microscope X- Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy

- Performs failure analysis and root cause identification

- Conduct fault injection test (placing faulty product and identifying/observing if operators perform correct actions)

Sample Preparation:

- Assists the operators in various sample preparation stages such as cutting/Moulding/grinding/polishing

Auditing:

SOP/PQB/DFM Audit: Checks for adherence to SOPs through audits (random observations) and inform deviations, if any, to shift incharge.

QC Report Auditing: Audits QC reports (for all sub-departments within Quality) Prepares a master QC report for the customer

General Audit: Conducts 5S audit and 3C (constant location, constant container, constant quantity). Checks if equipment maintenance checklist is followed and maintained. Monitors tool life and checks for deviations

Inspection: Inspects machine log for accurate machine/process parameters defined by Engineering team. Conducts cosmetic inspection of product after OQC. Takes corrective action (e.g. double sampling) in case of deviation with respect to cosmetic inspection. Conducts dimension (product parameter) inspection of product using QC reports being generated by Metrology, after OQC. Identifies deviations with respect to dimension inspection and takes corrective action in collaboration with IPQC team

Nonconformity closure: Ensures identified non-conformities are resolved and closed

Industrial Practice: Monitors 5S process, Maintain inventory of consumables. Ensures corrective actions provided by the customer service team are implemented on the shop floor
