This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Tata Electronics is a subsidiary of the Tata group. The Tata Group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents, with the mission 'To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve globally, through long term stakeholder value creation based on leadership with Trust.

Essential Attributes

Seeking a passionate RF Engineer who enjoys solving tough RF challenges and thrives in a handson production environment. If you love debugging RF systems, improving test processes, and working with wireless technologies from 2G to UWB, this role will excite you.

If you value ownership, collaboration, and staying curious about emerging RF tech, we’d love to connect.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the front-line technical support for RF applications in a high-volume EMS production environment.
  • Lead failure analysis and debug RF circuits/systems down to component level using advanced measurement techniques.
  • Operate, analyze, and interpret results from RF test equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes).
  • Document test results, prepare concise reports, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Resolve production test facility issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align RF test methods, acceptance criteria, and outcomes.
  • Improve RF debugging/test methodologies for efficiency, repeatability, and throughput.
  • Partner with business teams to align technical solutions with customer requirements and program goals.
  • Stay current with RF/wireless standards (2G–5G, WLAN, Bluetooth, UWB) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Apply RF/IoT expertise to ensure measurement integrity, data quality, and compliance.

Desired Skills

  • Strong RF engineering fundamentals; hands-on in RF testing methodologies and component-level PCB debugging.
  • Proficiency with spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, RF power meters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Solid grasp of RF principles, measurement techniques, standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience reading schematics and understanding PCB layout practices.
  • Familiarity with wireless standards (LTE, 5G, WiFi/WLAN, Bluetooth, UWB).
  • Exposure to design/simulation tools (Altium, PSpice; AutoCAD if relevant to fixture/mechanical interfaces).
  • Advantageous: embedded C/C++/Python for test automation or data processing.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration, clear technical communication, and ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related).
  • Minimum 3 years in RF testing/validation (within the broader 5–10+ years total experience).
