Job Description:

•    Own end-to-end ORT failure analysis from failure identification → FA → root cause → corrective action → closure.
•    Review ORT failures, identify abnormal trends, prioritize critical failures, and drive timely disposition.
•    Follow FA flow, test sequence, teardown methodology, measurement requirements, and confirmation tests based on failure mode.
•    Lead RCA using 5 Why, Fishbone, DOE, Fault Tree, Pareto, correlation analysis and 8D/RCCA methodologies.
•    Drive CFT with Quality, Engineering, Process, Material, SQM, TEMD, TEHR, Vendor and Customer teams for failure resolution.
•    Track ORT failure rate, DPPM, failure mode distribution, recurrence, product/model/vendor trends and severity.
•    Ensure immediate containment for critical failures, including suspect lot identification, segregation, additional screening and risk assessment.
•    Verify effectiveness of CA/PA and ensure recurrence prevention through process, material, design or test improvements.
•    Analyse reliability data statistically using Pareto, trend charts, box plots, distribution, CPK, correlation and hypothesis testing where applicable.
•    Monitor FA TAT and ensure critical failures are analysed and dispositioned within the agreed timeline.
•    Drive supplier/vendor FA for material or component-related failures and validate vendor corrective actions with evidence.
•    Establish ORT FA readiness for new products, including FA methodology, equipment, fixtures, sample flow, specifications and escalation criteria.
•    Prepare concise and fact-based ORT FA reports for customer reviews, highlighting Failure → Evidence → Root Cause → CA/PA → Validation
