About Tata Electronics
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL), in partnership with Taiwan’s Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC), is building India’s first AI-enabled, high-volume commercial semiconductor fabrication facility in Dholera, Gujarat. This greenfield project represents a ₹91,000 crore (~$11 billion) investment and is a cornerstone of India’s ambition to become a global semiconductor hub.
Key Responsibilities:
3 to 8 years in Production Planning or Material Planning in EMS Industry.
Prepare daily, weekly & monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and capacity
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores & Quality teams for smooth execution
Monitor WIP, material availability & machine capacity to avoid bottlenecks
Maintain BOMs, routing & master data in ERP/MES (SAP knowledge is a must)
Analyze capacity utilization, downtime & productivity for planning accuracy
Manage inventory to avoid stock-outs/overstocks
Ensure on-time delivery & support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
🔹 Prior experience in Production Planning and Material Control in an EMS company
🔹 Strong knowledge of SAP, PO & WO handling
🔹 Advanced MS Excel skills
🔹 Inventory management & clear-to-build planning expertise
Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s in Engineering, Industrial Management, or relevant field
