Roles and responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement calibration procedures and techniques
  2. Ontime calibration of equipment’s with External vendors, OEM or Internally
  3. Identify and rectify problems associated with equipment calibration and performance
  4. Maintain calibration records for audit purposes
  5. Perform the periodical dust particle count measurement
  6. Recommend and implement improvements for calibration procedures and methods
  7. Train and assist other technicians in calibration techniques
  8. Order, maintain, and manage calibration equipment and tools
  9. Ensure that all calibration activities adhere to quality standards and regulations
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures for calibration processes.
  11. Participate in continuous improvement efforts for calibration processes and systems.
  12. Work with suppliers to resolve any issues related to the calibration or performance of measurement and test equipment.
  13. Provide technical support for calibration activities and equipment maintenance.
  14. Conduct a periodic line audit to ensure the calibration status and performance of the equipment.

 

Essential Attributes

  1. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017
  2. Knowledge on evaluation of measurement uncertainty

 

Qualifications

 

Diploma or BE / B. Tech in Instrumentation / electronics / electrical / mechanical discipline

Desired Experience Level

 

2-5 years’ experience in Electrical, Thermal, RF & Mechanical equipment’s
