Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

 

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Role Overview:

 

  • To be responsible for establishment of Product Debug process in electronics manufacturing industry covering RF, Mobile,Telecom, Networking, Automobiles and future technologies etc.
  • Professional knowledge of Electronics, Telecom, Electrical.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • To maintain Debug Technic and solve problems concerning with Product ,test equipment and test process to support production.
  • To ensure that the product quality requirements are taken care of in the defined work area.
  • To draft work instructions & procedures, manage and update technical files.
  • To develop the Debug  process to reduce Debug cycle time.
  • To draft Debug  training material and conduct training for different Level.
  • Cross project support & assistance to meet the org objectives. 
  • Debug analysis, Trobleshooting of product and process failure, Issue Tracking, Contigency plan, backup solutions, Improvements, cost saving.
  • ICT & flying probe Machine knowledge.
  • Functional/EOL tester Knowedge.
  • Strong Knowledge on Components-Actives and Passives,Schematic, Product BOM, Gerber file, Block Diagram.
  • Debugging and Analytical ability.
  • Thorough Knowledge of Quality tools (Cpk, G R & R, PFMEA).
  • Product Validation, Ensure all products meet quality standards through rigorous Debug , Zero defect,Lean, SOP/WI, 8D, 5W, GR & R, CpCpK.6 Sigma.
  • Root Cause Investigation – Apply structured failure analysis techniques (X-ray inspection, cross-sectioning, PCBA track Tracing) to uncover latent defects such as head-in-pillow solder joints, delamination, or silicon fractures.
  • Electrical Bench Debug – Manually probe failed PCBs with oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and logic analysers to trace signal anomalies to the responsible net or component.
  • Component-Level Analysis – To determine whether a batch of passive or active components is inherently out-of-specification, initiating supplier CAPAs or incoming inspection gates.
  • 8D / CAPA Reporting – Draft customer-facing 8D Corrective Action reports documenting the confirmed root cause, immediate containment actions, permanent corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.

  • Tester & Debug Knowledge  & Quality Assurance.
  • Product Debug & Analysis.
  • IPC Certified Rework experienced technician/Engineer.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Diploma/BE/BTECH//BSc.

 

Required experience:

  • 2 to 15 Years.
