About The Business:

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

 

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement product test processes within the ISP electronics manufacturing environment to ensure reliable and efficient testing operations.
  • Perform tester installation, commissioning, and quality assurance (QA) activities using ICT principles, programming, and test optimization techniques.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment to ensure continuous production readiness and minimize downtime.
  • Provide debugging and analytical support for test and product-related issues, leveraging knowledge of active and passive electronic components.
  • Apply quality tools and methodologies such as Cpk and Gauge R&R to monitor test effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update test documentation, procedures, and process records to ensure compliance and knowledge retention.

 

 

 

Essential Attributes:

  • Product test process establishment.
  • Tester installation.
  • Commissioning and quality assurance.
  • Sound ICT principles and ICT programming/fine-tuning.
  • Components (actives and passives) Debugging and analytical ability; quality tools (Cpk, Gauge R&R).
  • Test equipment maintenance; professional knowledge of Electronics / Mechanics.

 

Minimum Relevant Experience: 2 to 15 Years

Education Qualifications: Diploma / BE / B.Tech / BCA / BSc.
