Responsibilities:

 

  • Leadership & Team Management  

  • Manage and mentor a team of equipment engineers and technicians. 

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet production and project timelines. 

  • Equipment Strategy & Planning  

  • Develop and implement equipment maintenance and upgrade strategies. 

  • Oversee equipment lifecycle management, including procurement and disposal. 

  • Process Optimization  

  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. 

  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues. 

  • Compliance & Safety  

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. 

  • Maintain documentation for audits and certifications. 

  • Budget & Cost Control  

  • Prepare and manage equipment-related budgets. 

  • Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. 

  • Project Management  

  • Lead equipment installation and commissioning projects. 

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely execution. 

 

Essential Attributes:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in equipment engineering. 

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation systems, and preventive maintenance. 

  • Proficiency in CAD tools, PLC programming, and equipment reliability analysis. 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

 

Qualification:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (master’s preferred). 

 

Desired Experience Level:

 

  • Experience in semiconductor, automotive, or electronics manufacturing. 

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies. 

  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and global teams. 

  • Equipment uptime and reliability. 

  • Maintenance cost reduction. 

  • Successful execution of equipment projects within timelines and budgets. 

  • Team development and retention.
