About The Business:

 

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

 

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee production operations during assigned shifts.
  • Supervise and guide production operators to meet daily targets. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance teams.
  • Prepare and submit shift reports, highlighting productivity and challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and reduce downtime and improve yield Train and mentor staff to improve efficiency and skill levels.

  • Problem-solving mindset with quick decision-making under pressure.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards. Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage diverse teams. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 

 

Desired Experience Level:

 

  • 5–8 years of experience in production supervision or shift management.
  • Prior exposure to manufacturing/industrial environments preferred.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ERP systems is an added advantage.
