Responsibilities:

 

  • Prototype Assembly: Build, modify and troubleshoot initial engineering prototypes and technology samples using technical schematics and drawings.
  • Process Development: Assist Process engineering SMEs in defining manufacturing procedures, identifying tooling requirements, and ensuring products are designed for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform functional and qualification testing (e.g., thermal, mechanical, electrical, or automated test equipment setup).
  • Issue Resolution: Actively identify, document, and resolve technical bugs, yield risks, or tool mismatches during NPIs and Safe launch production runs.
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist in training production operators before a product goes to the assembly line

Education:

 

  • Education: A diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience: Typically 3+ years’ experience in NPI at fast-paced manufacturing or product development environment.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with NPI builds, hand soldering, Specialized testing equipment etc.,
  • Software: Good skill in Microsoft tools like Excel, word, PPT etc., MES tracking systems.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently in shifts and as part of a team. 
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
