Responsibilities:
- Prototype Assembly: Build, modify and troubleshoot initial engineering prototypes and technology samples using technical schematics and drawings.
- Process Development: Assist Process engineering SMEs in defining manufacturing procedures, identifying tooling requirements, and ensuring products are designed for manufacturability (DFM).
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform functional and qualification testing (e.g., thermal, mechanical, electrical, or automated test equipment setup).
- Issue Resolution: Actively identify, document, and resolve technical bugs, yield risks, or tool mismatches during NPIs and Safe launch production runs.
- Documentation & Training: Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist in training production operators before a product goes to the assembly line
Education:
- Education: A diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience: Typically 3+ years’ experience in NPI at fast-paced manufacturing or product development environment.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with NPI builds, hand soldering, Specialized testing equipment etc.,
- Software: Good skill in Microsoft tools like Excel, word, PPT etc., MES tracking systems.
