About The Business:
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan & Schedule Production: Ensure timely execution of production plans to meet delivery targets.
- Manage Operations: Oversee daily manufacturing activities for efficiency and quality.
- Quality Compliance: Maintain IPC/ISO standards and drive defect reduction.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train operators/technicians; manage workforce allocation.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce EHS standards and audit readiness.
- Cost Control: Monitor production costs, scrap, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Reporting: Track KPIs (OEE, FPY, output) and communicate performance to management.
Essential Attributes:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control.
Desired Experience Level:
- 15–20 years of experience in production management, preferably in ISP or similar manufacturing environments.
- Experience in handling large teams and complex operations.
