Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Job Requirement:

The role will be required to work closely with Engineering , Quality , Automation , IE , IT and Operation team to ensure manufacturing systems, process controls , and Operational requirements are fully ready before production release .

Key responsibilities:

Manufacturing System readiness

• Drive manufacturing system readiness activities to support NPI and product ramp
• Ensure MES set up and manufacturing process integration meet operational and production requirements
• Coordinate closely with cross functional team to ensure process flow , system transactions, traceability , and manufacturing controls are in place before release
• Support manufacturing readiness reviews and drive of identified gaps and risks

MES and Manufacturing Process Integration

• Lead MES integration into manufacturing operations to ensure stable and smooth production execution
• Work with Engineering , IT and Mfg teams to identify system or process gaps impacting factory ramp
• Support IDM and DM integration activities to enable smooth product transition and manufacturing ramp
• Ensure manufacturing systems support operational requirements , Lot tracking IDM /DM consumption tracking

NPI Transition and Manufacturing Validation

• Support NPI transition validation to HVM ramp
• Drive ramp review , issue escalation, and readiness tracking
• Define the non-Process or Tactical related manufacturing critical jig and fixes or system to improve manufacturability and Poka Yoke solution
• Define and address the need of Non-technical Material movement process from Raw materials to Finish Good

Essential Attributes:

• Strong Leadership capabilities with proven experience leading cross- functional manufacturing and operational readiness program
• Strong understanding of IC Assembly and Test manufacturing process of Wire bond and Flip Chip technology .
• Proven experience supporting HVM ramp and sustaining
• Strong Leadership and stakeholder management skill.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing operation
