About The Business:
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for ICT, FCT, and other test systems.
- Ensure timely calibration of all test equipment to meet IPC/ISO and customer standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for test equipment failures.
- Introduce advanced diagnostic tools and automation for test equipment maintenance.
- Manage and train maintenance technicians; ensure skill development for complex test systems.
- Maintain EHS standards and ensure audit readiness for test maintenance processes.
- Optimize spare parts inventory, reduce maintenance costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Track KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, calibration compliance, and communicate performance to management.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of ICT, FCT, functional testing, and calibration standards.
Desired Experience Level:
- 12–18 years of experience in test equipment maintenance within EMS or electronics manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record in managing complex test systems and implementing predictive maintenance strategies.
