About The Business

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Job Responsibilities

1) Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM)

2) Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy

3) Determining the required materials and generating purchase requistions.

3) Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery

from supplier

4) Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends

5) Prepare Forecast of Raw Material to all suppliers

6) Review Purchase Requisitions on a daily basis for accuracy and timely conversion into Purchase Orders

6) Monitor and trend supplier delivery performance

7) Creating an inventory schedule as per the requirements

8) Managing inventory issues, schedule changes pull in, push out and cancellations.

9) Generate and share the shortage report, Purchase requisition, Clear to build, Excess and Obsolete and Inventory Aging

10) Participating in MRB review meeting, identify the supply risk and Mitigation plan

11) Participating in team meetings to discuss improvements in processes and productivity
