Role Overview:
- To be responsible for establishment of product test process and maintenance test equipment in electronics manufacturing industry.
- Professional knowledge of Electronics / Mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
- To install, debug and accept new test equipment.
- To maintain test equipment and solve problems concerning with test equipment and test process to support production.
- To ensure that the product quality requirements are taken care of in the defined work area.
- To draft work instructions & procedures, manage and update technical files.
- To develop the test process to reduce test cycle time.
- To draft training material and conduct training for operators.
- Cross project support & assistance to meet the org objectives.
- Downtime analysis, Troubleshooting of tester and product, Issue Tracking, Contingency plan, backup solutions. Improvements, cost saving.
- Sound ICT Principles.
- ICT Programming knowledge.
- ICT Programming and fine tuning.
- Basics of Components-Actives and Passives.
- Debugging and Analytical ability.
- Thorough Knowledge of Quality tools (Cpk, G R & R, PFMEA).
- Tester Validation, ensure all products meet quality standards through rigorous testing. Zero defect, Lean, SOP/WI,8D,5W, GR & R, CpCpK.6 Sigma.
- Test yield improvement / Direct test equipment troubleshooting / PM.
- Line set up / Edit new program / Order new fixture and check it / verify the new product line.
- Test method development / Test time reduction / capacity improvement.
- PM, implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. OEE, MTBF, MTTR. Effective spare Management.
